List of matches UEFA Champions League final 2024
In 2024, football fans across Europe and beyond will be able to enjoy a rich tournament calendar that includes events at various levels, from international championships to youth cups. The main event of the year, of course, will be UEFA Euro 2024, which will be held in Germany.
This tournament, now in its 17th edition, promises to be one of the most exciting events in international football with the participation of the continent’s leading national teams and will take place from June 14 to July 14.
UEFA Euro 2024
UEFA Euro 2024 will return to its normal four-year cycle following the postponement of Euro 2020 to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Italy, the current champions who defeated England in the final of the previous tournament, will defend their title. The matches will be played in ten stadiums across Germany, including famous arenas such as the Olympiastadion in Berlin, where the final will take place.
UEFA Champions League final
At club level, attention will be focused on the UEFA Champions League final, which will take place at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London on June 1. This iconic stadium in the football world was chosen to host the final to mark the centenary of the opening of the original Wembley Stadium in 1923. Meanwhile, the UEFA Europa League will hold its final at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on May 22, while the UEFA Europa Conference League final is scheduled for May 29 at the Agia Sofia Stadium in Athens.
There are also tournaments for youth teams, such as the UEFA European U-17 Championship, which will be held in Cyprus from May 20 to June 5. This event will act as a UEFA qualifier for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic.
In addition to these large-scale events, numerous youth and amateur tournaments will take place throughout Europe. For example, the Dutch Soccer Youth Cup in the Netherlands and the Barcelona Football Festival in Spain, which both take place from 24 to 27 May.
There will also be tournaments such as the Copa Catalunya and Copa Maresme on the Costa Brava in Spain, offering a unique experience for youth and girls teams.
